2013-11-14 - The Next Liverpool Green Partnership Meeting


We are pleased to invite you to the next meeting of the Liverpool Green Partnership. It will be held at 10.00 on 6th December at Blackburne House on Hope Street in Liverpool City Centre.

Refreshments and registration will be available from 9.15. The meeting will finish at 12.00 and lunch and networking will be available until 13.00

The meeting will be designed to allow you to discuss some of the key challenges and opportunities facing the Liverpool Green Partnership as we seek to promote a sustainable city and city region.

There will be the opportunity to contribute your proposals across six important areas. These are:- Waste and recycling, transport, energy, sustainable food, green space and infrastructure, and innovative solutions.

We understand that the Mayoral Commission on Environmental Sustainability will have its first meeting shortly, after which a formal announcement is expected. The Commission will be Chaired by Nigel Weatherill and we understand there will be eight members of the Commission.

We have asked for the Mayoral Commission on Environmental Sustainability to attend and await their response.

The meeting will also receive the draft Terms of Reference for the Partnership which will be subject to consultation as we seek to build for the future.
